In 1996, an impressive expansion of Hillside occurred that included a 15,000-square-foot timber frame addition to the original farmhouse housing a state-of-the-art winemaking facility, and the 160-seat bistro with upper and lower patios. The remarkable 72-foot tower included in the addition dominates the view as you drive north along Naramata Road.

We offer a self guided tour located in stations around our second floor wine gallery. Also, we welcome groups of 8 or more to pre-arrange for tasting, guided tours of the winery and lunch at our renowned Bistro. Contact us for more information on these packages.

After touring our winery, join us in our Barrel Room Bistro for a breathtaking Okanagan Dining Experience in our artistic dining room or one of the two outdoor patios. The Barrel Room Bistro opens early April for lunch only, May 1 for dinner on Friday and Saturday evenings, and lunch and dinner is available everyday in the bistro starting mid June. Dinner reservations are strongly encouraged. We wrap up the season in mid October after our infamous Lobster fest events.

Hillside's rustic wine shop employs staff that is eager to assist in making the most of your wine tasting experience. Wine shop visitors can browse the unique gift and food items, sourced from local artisans, artists and producers of gourmet foods.

Notorious for our friendly and knowledgeable staff, along with our unique facility, we welcome visitors to peruse our lush gardens and witness the spectacular lake view atop the 52 steps of our tower.
