Our goal is to create premium wines with concentrated flavours. This is accomplished by careful attention to gentle pressing, minimal filtration and the use of French and American oak barrels for both ageing and fermentation. John's passion for the finely crafted wines is reflected in the quality and character of Glenterra's wines. Since opening in May '99, the pinot gris and meritage have won medals at the All Canada Wine Championships.

Varieties available are pinot gris, chardonnay, pinot noir, cabernet franc, meritage and Glenterra's unique blend - Vivace.

Guests can take a self-guided vineyard tour, viewing the 10-year-old "Harper' vineyard with forty varieties, the newly planted slope of merlot and our three-year-old block of pinot gris, pinot blanc, pinot noir and gewurztraminer.

Glenterra is easily accessible - situated about one minute east off the Trans Canada Highway stoplight at Valley View Centre on Cobble Hill Road, just 10 km south of Duncan.

Winery Hours:

Tasting Room/Wine Shop are open daily 11 am - 6 pm from March to the end of October.
Winter Hours: November 1 - March 1 are 12 - 5, or by chance.
Watch for Sunday BBQs in Summer.
